How 23snaps Works
23snaps is a private social network designed specifically for families with young children. It works similarly to other social networks, making it easy to understand if you and your (possibly older) family members are familiar with platforms like Facebook or Instagram. However, 23snaps is ad-free and places a strong emphasis on privacy, ensuring that only the people you choose can see your content.

Users
A family is comprised of one or two users, known as partners. Each user can log in, post content, and manage family settings. Users can connect with other users, and connections must be mutually accepted, just like adding friends on other social networks.
Children
Families can have zero or more children. Children are not able to log in, post content, or connect with others. They can however be tagged in posts to create their own gallery, allowing their timeline to be revisited and moments relived. Users in the same family can modify the children associated with their family.
Connections
Users can invite others to connect, and once accepted, they can see each other's posts as well as posts made by the partner of the connected user. Connections are an important part of sharing and keeping family members updated, similar to how friend requests work in other social networks.
Tags
Users can tag themselves, their partner, their children, or members of a connected family in posts. Tags involving children or family members of another user (third-party tags) require approval before they are visible to others. Approved tags allow posts to be shared more broadly within connected families, similar to tagging people in photos on other platforms.
Posts
Users can share photos, videos, and updates. When a user posts content, their connections will receive notifications based on their preferences (push notifications, email digests, etc.). Posts can be deleted, but this is a permanent action, and any related media, comments, or likes will be lost.
